Maxi Priest - Best of Me
Nice music for a beautiful spring day. I classify him as Raggae-light or Pop reggae. Call it what you want it's good music. Close to you, Wild world, Crazy love, In the springtime, Should I.

These guys managed to encompass Jazz, Blues, and Psychadelic into one package. Amazing. Light my fire, Roadhouse blues, Touch me, L.A. woman.

No but thank you, and it hurts (pun intended) to be able to tell an old Johnny song from a young one. Booze and pills made the difference, if you know his story well enough. Which reminds me of another great song I love that I heard on college radio just tonight.

Primal Scream - Give out but don't give up
First heard of these guys when I saw them open for Depeche Mode around '93(Faith and Devotion tour). Liked their groove so I got this CD. What I like about this CD is that they bounce around different sounds, country, funk, jazz and Rock, but it all sounds good. Jailbird, Rocks, Cry myself blind, Big jet plane, Free.

A (rubbish) remix of this was in a TV advert, so I had to listen to the original.

Inspired by the isolated vocals videos on youtube, I've been revisiting Eddie Veder in both Pearl Jam and Temple of the Dog.
