I'm sure there are a few Okinawans that would love to prove you wrong. For that matter, there are a lot of really strange looking Okinawan weapons, but I would never want to cross someone who actually had one.
but look at it, it just looks so lame. It looks like someone woke up one day and decided to make their own weapon, after theirs tons of effective weapons already in use.
um a ring a of metal with two long peices of metal at a tangent and a handle bein lame? its kinda weird but come on if it were sharp I wouldnt want to tangle with someone useing a pair of them. There are goofier Chinese weapons out there than those. Like fo a nine dragon trident thats a goofy weapon.
The entire outside edge of those are sharp when they're real and they are very effective and dangerous.
i meant things like that hand with the rope, doesnt seem practical, why not just use a rope with a ball instead??its seems like they just want to create something new, that looks exotic, although it doesn't seem too effective
I always thought the katana was kind of goofy. I mean, look at how long the hilt is compared to the blade.
