lol it actually got me to thinking that it's been ages since I actually heard the word 'spade' used to as a racist slur... since I was a kid. And even then it was only with an uncle or two who did a stint in the pen. I actually quite like the phrase because its generally brings out the people who don't actually understand the term or its usage right out of the woodwork.

Love metaphors and mixed use.
