I know this is a world-wide site with most members in the UK, but how many of you MAPers live in the midwest of the USA? Illinois to Colorado, North Dakota to Kansas? Thanks! -D
I was sitting in a seafood shop the other day and on the wall was a huge map of the Pacific. As my boss droned on and on about something that was probably important, my eye wandered over the map. That's when I spotted the little island of Kwajelein! now THATS a long commute!
Illinois here. Did you know that Chicago was originally supposed to be part of Wisconsin, but got switched at the last minute for reasons I cannot remember? Look it up, it's true
Kenpo, depends on where you go I guess. I can do a killer East Coast accent, watch: "Why dija pahrk yer cahr soooo fahr from da bahr?"
That it is. We do some work for NASA and the DOE also does some research with the old nuclear testing problems that are still going on out there.
Milwaukee Wing Chun! i'm still a beginner since i had shoulder surgery after 1 year of practice, but i'm a MAP expert lol
Excellent! I don't want to break the advertising rules, but you are all invited to the seminar we are hosting in Omaha in October. PM me for details. Thanks.
LOL. I think it's all somewhat relative to who you ask. I think a lot of Kentuckians consider themselves "southerners" but people in Georgia and Texas don't really think of Kentucky as being in the "south." I grew up in Indiana and Ohio and Indiana definitely consider themselves to be midwest. Since I'm only about 10 minutes from the Indiana border, I still consider where I live to be midwest. But I don't know. I don't think there are any "official" guidelines. Mike
I think Missouri is in the same boat - consider themselves southerners, but the "real" south does not. but anyway, http://chapelomaha.tk
