if i had to upload a document in word or excel, i've done it so far with yahoo geocities and i would use the link where i needed it on my website or somewhere, but i've realised that few downloads would exceed the quota at geocities and the file is then not available anymore for a while. is there another way to upload a file permanently without this quota thing? thank you
You can upload it directly to your website, and put a link to it on the page. You don't need Geocitites The code should look something like <a href="http://www.neryo_tkd.com/files/document.doc">Click to download</a>
hahahaha we're going in circles let me ask the question again: is there another way to upload a file beside geocities because it reaches its quota after only few downlaods? (and beside uploading it to my website)
So you want to host a file for others to download but not on Geocities because of the quota and not on your website Have a look at www.yousendit.com or www.megaupload.com I believe Megaupload allows more downloads than Yousendit
