REALLY Brits? I was so sure I would wake up to tons of comments here, but nothing?

You aren't excited about your first UFC champ?

Hey, he is really one of the UFC fighters I really despise. But he totally deserved that win. Good for him.

(I almost started feeling happy for him, then he went and used an anti- gay slur in the post fight press conference and I remembered why I dislike Bisping so very much.) Oh and that isn't the first time he has used that slur.

Rockhold so clearly didn't take his opponent seriously. And wow, I don't like him either, What a whiner about losing.

It was a great night of fights! To me, the best moment was Henderson's absolutely beautiful Driving elbow knockout. That was a thing of beauty! Just perfectly executed!

Best thing about the event was the surprise snnouncement for the next one.

Does Bisping has a history of rasict comments?
If not, then this might was just an unfortunate moment for him. He was in the middle of a heated quarrel.
At times like these you can say things that you don't mean.

Homophobic, not racist. And yes, this is the second time at least. The last one was not in the middle of a quarrel. But when the staff got some of that pre-fight stuff (vaseline?) in his eye. And it wasn't in the context of swearing about that happening either.

I was really looking forward to the Rockhold - Weidman fight and I'm not much of a UFC fan. When Bisping got thrown in I kinda got bummed out since the original fight was supposed to be such a great fight.

I'm glad he won, always love an under dog winning but since I'm not a big UFC fan, I didn't know he was a homophobe. Despite being from England, I've never been one for being patriotic or anything like that. I couldn't care less that Bisping was from England but he was an under dog so I'm happy for him.
But he if is so homophobic, I have no respect for him which is such a shame since politics/beliefs don't belong near the ring/octagon and he obviously is a decent fighter.

Mod note- Saint Domingo, I added spoiler tags to the parts of your post that pertained to the outcome of the fight. We ask that all members do this when the fight happened less than 2 days ago. After that, no spoiler tags needed. Thanks!

Oh I'm so sorry! Thank you for that! Won't happen again! I'm not too sure how use the spoiler tags actually

    No worries.

In the advanced options, you highlight the text in question. then you hit the icon at the top that as a big "S" surrounded by a cartoon speech bubble. It is the second from the right. :) If you still have trouble with this, let me know.

Ahh thank you, just found it. Again, sorry that happened, as a game of thrones fan, I know first hand how annoying spoilers are!! Won't happen again.

If you walk around with your hands down and you chin up you go to sleep, you would have thought a UFC world title holder would have known that...
Bisping has done allot for MMA in the UK so happy for him no idea what comments he made but the few times i talked to him and competed at the same events he was always ok, personally im waiting for Daley Koscheck 2 as the fun fight for the brits

lombard v hendo was epic. pleased for Bisping but although he has developed well over the last few fights I've seen of him and has always ben a tough dude, I can't help but think that Rockhold - as bitter as he was - has a point. Having said that, it's a fight and Bisping siezed his opportunity when it came. couldnt watch the cruz fight as I find his style so boring to watch. might catch it later in the week.

The Cruz fight was really good, really added some aggression and power to his movement based game, fascinating to watch.

I thought Cruz looked less mobile than previous outings. Still a unique puzzle for anyone he fights though. My technique eye cringes at his looping punches and awkward movements but there's no doubt he's sussed the "hit but not get hit" side of the game.

Much more exciting against Faber this time.

Oh yeah I forgot that CLF gave up trying to teach people to punch properly and so just gave the haymaker a fancy chinese name and pretended it was a "technique" all along.:evil::evil::evil::evil:
