That was awesome. I did a UFC catch up day. Thug Rose v VZ, then TUF Finale and finally 194. I had to duck and dive like crazy to avoid spoilers though.
I did a Mushroom ...all caught up ...great cards .. Watched Soldier of god, Weidman and McGregor fights live then went to work !!! Great entertainment .
I only watched UFC 194's main card since theres just too much events these days for me and have trouble keeping up. Spoiler Kinda dissapointed in Gunnar's loss to Maia. He was just so outclassed, just couldn't keep up througout all 3 rounds. And Aldo getting ko'd in 13 sec.. shees its spectacular on one hand but just felt like a huge anti climax to me. Just hype and hype for more then halve a year, and it's over in one punch
Spoiler 2 main cards over before the end of the 1st round including one in 13 secs. All I'll say is I'm glad I decided to not shell out the 60 bucks for the pay-per-view.
It's a real shame the UFC put so many cards one after the other because by all accounts people like Barboza and Ferguson put on an absolute war but the results from the previous events are now on the 5/6 page of any site and forgotten.
Ferguson - Barboza was the best fight of the weekend hands down. But even Rockhold's performance has been marginalised because of the Aldo loss so the TUF finale fights have no chance. Including Edgar knocking out Mendes and making him the next in line to fight Mcgregor.
Maybe Conor and Aldo should of snogged for a while before the opening bell. A bit more satisfying for you? I did not expect what happened, when it happened, to have happened the way it happened.
