on a slightly related note, I had a near miss with a bus yesterday :| It swung round near the path at speed, so the front corner overhung and side mirror at head level. I barely moved in time as I was busy keeping the kids on the inside of the road in my standard formation (rather it was me hit than the kids) turned as I heard it and stepped and ducked the mirror. Could have been a nasty bump.
