Please can someone help me with this?

I can't read kanji, I got this as a gift from someone in Japan, but don't know what it says - I'd like to find out before I email them.

I know a few of you on here read kanji really well, please can you tell me what it says?

    Thanks very much!!

Well, it looks like "mata okoshi kudasai", which means "please come again", and it should be turned 90 degrees clockwise to be read :)

Very nice custom they have, I received a wooden ' trinket' one time If I can find it maybe some one can translate it?

I think this could be a great thread for that sort of thing? Maybe an open 'sticky' if their is such a thing,
