As a side note, does anyone know if they do vegan friendly protein mixtures? I know a number of companies do, but I haven't bothered to check this one out.

Yeah, but the advertisers and marketeers have only recently started to really crack men's anxiety and body image wholesale.

They've always tried, but I wouldn't say they've been that successful until more recent years.

Pro Wrestling, Superheros, Charles Atals, Maxic, Farmer Burns, Muscle and Fitness, Flex, Steve Reeves....the image is pretty constant throughout and the industry as a whole has been feeding on male insecurity for decades

The industry is - and always was - massive

 

You don't think young men are generally more neurotic about their appearance than when you or I were kids (think I'm 5ish years younger than you)?

Anyway, put all of those things you mentioned together and I bet they don't make half as much as the cosmetics industry in a year.

Since I can't read Canto, I wouldn't know if I was opposed or not morally. I can (as far as I know) understand its not a mag promoting hatred/etc.
Unless handbag adverts and celeb gossips are offensive to folk.

Its still their own choice to take the job or not. Just because one is vegan doesn't mean they HAVE to be against other stuff.

In the end, this is all coming from the Daily Fail who didn't know what "pea protein" is/was..
