In what way is this "legit" ? I see no external verification of the blindfold. I see no precautions taken to ensure that the subject isn't getting his information from either non visual cues ( e.g being told whats happening or touch codes on the card) or being told what is happening in advance.

I see nothing that would prevent a stage magician from faking what is shown. Therefore I see no guarantee that it is not faked. Therefore it is not legit.

a high level of mistrust and prejudice

well you can check it your self in the closest place from UK, you can prove it yourself in The Hague, Netherland :

Actually it is trust in the scientific method and no prejudice at all. If the example you give is legit there would be no explanation for it within current scientific knowledge.

The scientific method requires a non prejudiced mind and openness to all explanations. But, science does not treat all explanations equally. Science first seeks to eliminate all possible explanations of an event that are consistent with current scientific understanding, only then does it look for explanations outside of science.

In your example there was no evidence that any safeguards against conventional faking had been established at all. I have an open and unprejudiced mind but see no evidence that what you have posted shows legitimate extrasensory ability.

if you someday prove it yourself, and you experience it yourself, that there is no trick, no deception, and you've run tests/trials on it, would you believe it or you will still not believe in it because there is no scientific evidence ?

i hope you're one of those audiences

    Absolute rubbish

    What were the protocols?
    What were your controls?
    What were the conditions?

It's the same crap claimed by charlatans and frauds for centuries, and as soon as an actual testing protocol that ISN'T done by the performers is applied it falls down instantly

It has been claimed before, tested before and failed miserably before

There is no way that you can donthisnand not know you are taking it, making those who sell it low lifes

Didn't do so well in front of the Amazing Randi and co..

''Test failed to achieve higher than random chance.
Of a total of 19 trials there were three correct responses.
There were 6 choices per trial.
The statistically expected response rate was 19/6 = 3.2.
This is in exact agreement with the results.''

This technique uses bioelectrical in your body to absorb vibrations around through your skin and visualized in your mind

Randi doesn't debunk anything, he just create many obstacles to make the practirioners fails, he using electrical table to reduce the ability to absorb vibration and he wiped around the eyes of practitioner with antiseptic tissue that makes practitioner's eyes feels very sore to make the practitioner loss concentration

if i claim to be able walk on the tightrope and i can balance my body without any tools. If Randi put an oil on the rope, what do you think, can i still walking on that tightrope ?

Randi can not debunk anything from Vibravision, that's why he did not show it on television, he only show the case when he know the trick, and able to replicate the trick

Send someone to the next MAP Meet. I will recompense their airfare from the Netherlands if they can read an ID card held behind them without touching it. To be clear, it will never be in front of them so they will never have chance to see it. It will be supplied by me so they will have no prior knowledge of it. It will never be in their hands, so they will not have chance to read it by touch.

    No, an ID card.

We will blindfold someone in the middle of a large matted area.

They will stand still, looking on one direction with nobody else around them.

One person will walk up behind them with an ID card, and they will have to read it without turning round and with nobody to help them.

We will film the whole thing from multiple angles.

Science is not about belief, it is about trust in method. I would not have to experience it myself. If a legitimate scientific investigation showed that there was no reasonable explanation for the observed phenomenon within current scientific understanding I would accept that the effect was true.

Your tone seams to suggest that a scientist would not want to prove it to be true. If anyone could show that e.s.p really existed they would get a Nobel prize (which includes million pounds cash) and their name would be remembered along with Einstein, and Darwin. That's a big incentive.
