I've wanted to see this 1977 film for ages. I can't seem to find it anywhere. I can't stream it online. I've tried all the video rental places in town to no avail. It's quite expensive to purchase online. This duel from the film is phenomenal: What do you think? Has anyone here seen it?
Buy it from UK amazon and get it shipped for a few bucks. https://www.amazon.co.uk/Duellists-DVD-Keith-Carradine/dp/B000085RNP
Superb film, the fight choreographer William Hobbs also did Rob Roy and the '73 Three Musketeers which are good films with excellent sword-fighting. Also the 2002 Count of Monte Cristo, which has really good fight scenes despite being generally jank.
Had a check you can digitally rent it on Amazon, if you impatient like me. Been wanting to watch this for a while..
Although it's not as quick, with older films, it's often cheaper to buy the Dvd then it is to stream the Dvd quality film. I imagine its expensive in the US because its one of ridley Scott's first films. Have you tried Canadian amazon/ ebay?
