It shows it up because it is a classic pair of complementary colors. It isn't just common on posters, it is a sunrise or sunset.

Kind of. The colour context part near the bottom is my favourite bit.

Great, as if we didn't already have enough math. We do math for movement, chemical reactions, how many threads are in your sheets, how many days you've bee waiting to get your lab tests back to see if you have an STD . . . . and now math for painting?
