http://www.thai2english.com/ This is great. I am using it to talk to my friends in thailand and its damn useful. Its mostly for writing, but you can use it to find out how to say things aswell. If you have a section of thai text you need to translate, just paste it in the box. It automatically gets seperated. Then all you have to do it put your mouse over each section and it tells you what that specific part means. Easy to manually translate and helps you learn.
My god I love this thing. I just had a full conversation over msn with this bad boy. Sure, it takes a little time, but it does the job. You can make your own scentences and they actually make sense, unlike the annoying free translators like bable fish. Not only that, but you actually remember alot, and learn a hell of a lot. Just be careful, it gives all the different translations. For example. For "you" it has: Koon: polite Meung: VERY RUDE Make sure you dont use the rude variety of words, or you might get your face kicked in.
One other thing I made a mistake on. Chan = "I/me" but it is used for women. Pom= "I/me" but used for men. Since Chan is the first thing that comes up on the dictionary, I was using it. Apparently, you can technically use chan, but pom is much politer, and we all want to speak thai correctly dont we. Pom rak kun mak mak khrap "I love you so much"
hahaha.... Naughty is sold... absolutely sold. I reckon it's he's short timin' it before he moves to Asia.
