What is the origin of the TSD stick forms, are they original to TSD or derived from another art?

TSD is originally empty handed system. If one of the associations/schools has any weapons forms, they are most likely derived from cross training in some Kobudo or what not. I happen to kno the 6 1/2 pole form from WC.

The World Tang Soo Do Ass has several bong forms. I beleive they were created by JC Shin, I dont know what training he had in the bong beforehand but they are unlike the Japanese forms I have seen. Like EternalRage said most TSD bong forms are Japanese/Okinawan in origin, well the ones ive seen are.

C.S. KIm had taught us Bong forms in the I.T.F. as well. I do not see them as proper traditional TSD forms, but they were worth $35 seminars to teach. :p
