Hmmm mixed feelings. One one side, have they mixed wiing chun into tai chi? Thats the last thing Yang needs. Also, if you are going to advertise with a vid clip that shows almost no 'skill' and lots of big pushes (some of the clips were odd, bit of push hands, small shuffle, huge push ) then atleast push someone your own size, I mean, what was he trying to show. Then on the oither hand, it was not 'compliant' as such (it was a bit) and so really shows that they might be moving in the right difection. Just a bit odd and poor quality. Did they put there best(BEST) on the web site?
looked a bit crappy to me. But everyone plays their own game with push hands. Just looked like flap you hands in the other guys face till he loses balance, then push. They were a little non-compliant, certainly not as cooperative as seen in other clips, but I couldn't see a whole lot of skill. Surely they have better stuff than this. Of course only watched the clip a couple of times. Without actually seeing more or meeting the people then my opinion cannot be rated too highly.

Personally, I think the slap is a seriously under-utilised strike myself. Nothing breaks the cool of an opponent like a good ole slap in the dish. I don't know the chap in the vid clip or their quality but atleast they had a decent posture and didn't break it while pushing a trait many in tai chi fail to achieve. Of course, the greasy def metal hair cut does scare me The (balding) Bear.
I was told once that we should punch the soft bits and slap the hard. Less broken knuckes I guess. Glam rocker dude was it? Reminds me of the Faster Pussycat song: Where there's a (single) whip, there's a way! I too used to have a mop, but decided to go to a Phil Anselmo cut! LOL, this poor dude Ruby has caught a lot of flack on the Internet about his "glam rock" band, but I guess what can they expect if they wear makeup and such. On the other hand, at least they actually hit each other which is a lot more than most TC schools seem to do.
Can you believe that fat ugly hairy manbeast of a slob still does porno occasionally. I think he is more into producing these days, but occasionally the ole 12" comes out! It's a scary sight to behold too!!
