i have seen some demonstrations where they kick apples stuck on the tip of swords and i was just wondering if the apple breaks into pieces due to the force of the kick or is there some way of preparing the apple beforehand so it will break up on impact ???
Errr, 1) Get an apple 2) Go outside 3) Throw apple in air 4) Kick it with your shoes on 5) Watch apple explode! Speed breaks are hard and breaking materials can be rigged but anyone can make an apple explode with a bit of practise accuaracy power and skill!!
Yes, it easy...like walking on burning wood-chip coals...everyone can do it. Now, breaking the apple into a thousand pieces with great finesse and acrobatic feats is not. cheers, DH
you'll need to hit the apple with speed a power in the right spot. we have this technique when doing demos. we use a jumping 360deg turning kick - if you hit it right, the apple explodes, if not, the whole apple goes flying
I would guess that the fact that it's impaled on something makes it more likely to explode/break. But kicking it requires skill so cool demo. Doesn't mean much in fighting terms though.
