who here has been trained in swordsmanship? i would like to learn, but there is nobody in my area that teaches weapons. is there any books or anything that show the basics? (i do want to get professional instruction one i move to a larger city, but right now that's not an option. i have to finish college first.)

i may not even attempt learning, since i don't want to devlope bad habits. but i'd like to even read about the subject and the theory behind it's movements, etc.

    bcullen They are all perfect.

What kind of swordsmanship are you thinking of? European (WMA, Claymore? ;) rapier?), Japanese (Iaido, or Korean komdo- katana), Chinese (dao- chinese broadsword, jian - straight sword). Ohh, the choices   :D
