is there a way that i can stop from subscribing to every thread i post to because i get a ton of emails for them
In your Control Panel - yes The link is User CP top left of the page... Go to Edit Options, and Default Thread Subscription Mode When you post a new thread, or reply to a topic, you can choose to automatically add that thread to your list of subscribed threads, with the option to receive email notification of new replies to that thread.
