    It's been a while, but I've been working hard:

    Running:
    20:00 || 2 mi

    Weight Lifting:
    DB Press
    DB Row
    DB Military Press
    Pullups
    DB Sumo Squat
    Crunches

    Not trying to be an irritant, but why if you've been working hard is your run time still ten minute miles. You should have improved, and as you havent you need to ask why.

    It's just an estimate. Good point, though. I'll do a time trial in the next couple days. In full disclosure, I've gotten to around an 8:30 min/mile over the last couple months. Not earth shattering, but an improvement.

    I want to get down to a 6:40 min/mile, which is around the pace a personal hero of mine (Muhammad Ali) used to run.

    Thanks for the feedback. I've got thick skin, so don't worry about being an irritant.

    Then again, maybe an irritant is something good :)

    Do you own a stop watch? I think it's imprtantto record your training so you can measure progress.

    Here's my workout for today:

    - 2 hour TKD private lesson with our daughter. Learned a lot (and I have a lot to learn).

    @ Axelator . . . I do have a stop watch. You've inspired me to be a little more diligent in measuring my progress.

    I'll keep you all posted.

    Here's my workout for today:

    - 30 minute run
    - 1 hour TKD practice on forms and techniques
    - The pseudo Ken Shamrock workout (500 deep knee squats, 3 x 50 crunches, 3 x 50 pushups)

    - 20 minutes zazen meditation
    - 20 minutes running
    - 40 minutes TKD practice (kicks/forms)
    - 10 minutes bodyweight exercises

    I'll be on vacation this week, so don't expect a lot of posting.

    When I get back, I'm thinking of changing things up a bit. Maybe something like this:

    - Mornings: Zazen meditation,
    - Lunch Hour: Swim, bike, or run cardio/weights
    - Evenings: Walk with the pup, TKD practice

    It's been a while since I've last posted, but I've been training. Here's my workout for today:

    - 36 minutes running
    - 3 x 1 minute jump rope
    - Max pushups in 3 minutes
    - Max situps in 3 minutes
    - Max pullups in 3 minutes
    - Stretching before bed

    Here's my workout for today:

    - 3 rounds of 2 minutes = Bas Rutten's All Around Fighting CD
    - 3 rounds of 2 minutes = Bas Rutten's Thai Fighting CD

    This kicked my butt!

    - 1 hr TKD class
    - 36 minute run
    - 3 x 2 minute jump rope
    - Max pushups in 3 minutes
    - Max situps in 3 minutes

    I'm also giving a whirl with the Warrior Diet.

    Here's my workout:

    - 36 minute run
    - 3 x 3 minutes jumping rope (1 minute rest in between)
    - 3 x 3 minutes push-ups (1 minute rest in between)
    - 3 x 3 minutes abdominal crunches (1 minute rest in between)

    So, weekly here's what I'm trying to do:

    - Monday = Workout in this post, Martial Arts in evening
    - Tuesday = Shadowboxing / Bag Work
    - Wednesday = Practice Forms
    - Thursday = Bas Rutton MMA CD or The Pit CD
    - Friday = Weight Lifting

    Christmas Eve Workout

    Here's my workout for today:

    - 2 rounds of pushups, bodysquats, pullups, handstands, and planks
    - 3 mile run

    - 20 minutes Kung-Fu Kickboxing Workout DVD (it's actually pretty good for conditioning)
    - 20 minutes practice kicks, blocks, punches, and katas
