Leo im from nowhere near southampton uni but, if youre full contact figther or even semi continuous you will probably be well catered for at that club. Youre already doing kickboxing anyway , so why not carry on your "trade" while at uni. You may find things different a little BUT youll still do boxing style padwork drills and get your sparring in. Personally id say stick to it. Ive trained at university clubs and i find that you get a good mix of people from outside anyway so it makes sense to stick at it.
