    Mangosteen Hold strong not

I'm looking to get a slow cooker when i move (super excited about making stews, confit etc)

Im wondering whats a decent brand and price range?

also recommendations on vacuum sealers (to vacuum pack food) would be nice!

Mushroom De-powered to come back better than before.

Morrisons do them for like £20.

I was thinking of getting one for soups etc. But I dont do long time cooking as much as I like. Assuming something like a Chillie would interest you.

Get one with an integral searing plate. Straight slow cooked food can be a little bland, and pre searing stuff takes away the one pot convenience.

Get as big a one as you can afford - particularly if you are going to batch cook meals.

I recommend the opposite. A pressure cooker. Saves time and you can soften bones to eat and make some wicked ramen.

I'm scared of pressure cookers :p

I think you need like a quick 1 day tutorial course on how to use them properly. I grew up in a restaurant based family and the stories I hear about them going wrong is awesome ...yet scary.

Yeah, part of me wants a turkey fryer, the rest of me is terrified of them.
