Just wondering if people have come across something called Shoto Budo? Seems to be an offshoot from shotokai but with grappling as part of the syllabus. Anyone heard of them or train with them?

There does seem to be a lot, and mainly from north of the border!

On the intructors page, they make reference to being 10th Dan and 5th Meijin etc.

I'm aware that "Meijin" is a title reserved for the highest of the high, but I've never seen it used with a numeric grade attached to it (ie 5th Meijin and 4th Meijin).

I've not seen that in other systems - anyone any knowledge of it?
