Hello, sorry for the late report. We held our Swords into Ploughshares Workshop last November at Pasig City Hall. Thank you to the Pasig City for donating the space free of charge. There were 31 participants representing 8 schools and 4 systems who took part. The days teaching was shared by equally by Master Bong Abenir (Abenir Kali/Kalis Ilustrisimo); Master Bot Jocano (Lightning Scientific Arnis/Silat); Master Mon Rivera (Red Bagani Arnis/DeCampo 123/LSAI); and Roland Isla (Kali DeLeon Methodology). At the end of the day, a representative of the Philippine Red Cross came to pick up the 15,500 pesos we were able to collect. It's not much by international standards, but if you're familiar with the average salary of workers here, you'd know the donations were generous. We thank everyone who took part and donated. As a Filipino, I'd also like to thank everyone everywhere in the world who's donated to help our brothers and sisters and continue to pray for their safekeeping. Natural disasters are a continuing problem in our country and we're planning future events to raise additional funds. http://youtu.be/W7uWQC218yM
