    Hello everyone.

I have recently been looking for a school that teaches old-fashioned pugilism (London Prize Ring rules) located in the Northeast (specifically in Pennsylvania, but any school locations in the Northeast would be useful info). I wondered if anyone knew of locations of schools or alternately knew of anywhere that I could find this information (WMA discussion/newsgroups, webrings, etc. etc.) I would really appreciate any help you could give in these matters.

    Thanks for your time.

My group just across the Ohio state line does classical pugilism. We deal with material from Mendoza to Dempsey. We just held a seminar/camp in PA last month and will have another one next summer dealing with various western MA including boxing. Also if you can make it to Lansing next month there will be several classes at ISMAC teaching classical pugilism.

As for groups....I run a group at yahoo devoted to the subject:

Louie also has a great thread going in this very forum concerning early boxing. Check it out if you have not already done so.
