Hi Any San Da/SanShou (Chinese Kickboxing) schools in London? I know there is one in Tuffnel Park (North London) area but it costs alot and is based around shaolin kung fu. Also there is this school http://www.chin-woo.com/chinesekbo.html Does anybody know about these and other schools? Thanks
I know the shaolin club in London has the best San Shou team in the UK and turns out some of the best fighters. Talking to people at the English San Shou championship last weekend (shaolin were not there), the general consensus is that the Shaolin guys are the ones to beat. If I remember, from there web site, they picked up gold in every weight category apart from under 80kg at the last national. This may be because they train well, or it may be because they get a huge turn over of guys because they trade on their Shaolin name, and only keep the good ones. Who ever you go with, san shou is great fun and well worth taking up.
