    This song would be highly controversial today in our PC times. During the Gulf War it became a theme song for US pilots. The song was played by armed forces radio over and over. In fact Rock the Casbah was written on a bomb dropped on Baghdad. Although the song has nothing to do with war, they were bombing the casbah of Saddam Hussein.

    he is a North African rai singer that is pretty huge in France. Another of the blessings bestowed upon me by my lovely French wife :)
