Sad to hear of the passing of Richie Benaud, a true legend of cricket both as a player and later as a commentator. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/cricket/32189688 I've got really happy memories from my youth of listening to Richie Benaud and the late great Jim Laker commentating on test matches on sunny summer mornings during the school holidays. RIP Richie.
It's surprising to learn with both his name and accent he was 100% Australian, all the same may he rest in peace.
He was a brilliant commentator with a voice that you just loved to listen to. RIP Richie, thank you for years of enjoyment.
