RIP James Garner, who starred in Marlow with Bruce Lee. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-28389814 I recall him in many westerns, which I watched as a kid with my father. The Rockford Files was another favourite. [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iYgEjqAV3_g"]Bruce Lee's two fight scenes in Marlowe (1969 -ENG) 1 / 2 - Lee harci jelenetei 1 / 2 - YouTube[/ame]
Great actor!! Underappreciated in my opinion. He was excellent in The Notebook and pure enjoyment in the movie adaptation of Maverick. RIP!
And let's not forget he was great in 'The Great Escape' as the wheeler dealer character that sourced all the supplies and escaped with the blind Donald Pleasance.
"The Notebook," that's right! I knew I knew him from somewhere recently. Ya, he's one of those iconic actors who has been around literally my entire life (I remember the "Rockford Files"). His passing reminds me of my own destiny. RIP.
The Rockford Files was awesome and so was Maverick. It's funny to say about someone who was fairly successful but he was definitely an underrated talent.
He was always one of my favorites. Outside of the ones mentioned, he was classic in Support Your Local Sheriff. He was a legend and a class act.
I always enjoyed James Garner's work. He was in some good things, but even if fairly mediocre films and programmes he was good to watch, because he had a certain presence and quality that made you want to watch him. He was a fine actor, and should have been given far bigger roles given his talent. Definately under-rated, in my opinion. RIP.
