    I was really shocked when I heard this on the radio this morning. :cry: He always seemed to be one of those people who was going to outlive you and your grandkids.

    Just shortly ago saw this in my newspaper.
    So long Godfather! Damn did that man have some soul. Funktastic.

    The energy and memories that man gave us will live on through his music. He was awesome. RIP James Brown, 1933-2006.

    Not a bad innings, and a memorable one, by anyones standards. He made a difference too to many peoples life from his community. through his anthems in seminal times. No ordinary man this. Driven he was by the funk!!

    btw he was a former boxer also in his history.
