Rename that lift!

    **Read the following w/ duplicity in mind**

    Sometimes I read people's logs and I have absolutely no clue what exercise they are doing because their terminology for the movement is different than mine, or I've never done that exercise before. I know there are a few :confused: exercises in my own workout log. I also see some people working out at the boxing gym that do some weird stuff that I have no clue the name for.

    So let's make things simpler! Pick an exercise and rename it so everyone can understand instantly EXACTLY what that lift or exercise scheme is!


    Tabata Intervals - "BLOOD FOR THE BLOOD GOD" Intervalic Periods of Pain and Mourning.

    Jumping High Knee - "War Unicorns"

    Is this exercises which have no defined name, or renaming existing exercises? Today I included single arm DB bench press, and to get some opposite action I also did a single arm cable floor pulldown or Hikite Row

    No kidding. Does it even work your tris? I never felt anything except for my shoulders, and I was doing it just like the P90X video people.

    Power Cleans - "Too deadly for some gyms"
    Upright Rows - "teh ghey"
    Bodyweight Squats - "BAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!"
    Smith Machine (anything) - "Do you even lift?"

    This is what I'll call "lift". If you can make your PVC pipe to bend like that, you will know how much weight that you are dealing with. If you can still do this when you are 80 years old, you are in good shape.
