After finally getting fed up with missing the same questions on my written test every time, I actually did some studying, and I now have the correct answer to every question on the entire USJA senior written exam...except for one. Which American was the first to win a medal at the World Championships in judo and what place did he win? I cannot find the answer. Any site I look at has only the gold medal winners, and no American has won the gold there yet. So, if anyone has the answer to this question, please let me know. In return, if you need the answer to any other question, I should have it now!
I'm no Judo man, but the WWF wrestler "Bad News Brown" AKA "Bad News Allen" was a Judoka. He won a bronze medal sometime in the 70s (I'm not sure what even it was though) Thought I would just share that with you.
Mike Swain Maybe this guy? Mike Swain: Four-time Olympian representing the U.S. in 1980, 1984, 1988 and in 1992. In 1988, he won a Bronze Medal.
