Hey ive just started powerlifting (3 weeks) and i dont think i am doin very well i am 16 59kg and 5ft 9 i am benching 60kg deadlifting 110kg and squating 80kg is that crap and how can i improve.
dude, edit that before people read it. No one wants to be an enemy on MAP. You can't expect results in such a short period of time. I thought that it would be faster too but it is a very slow process. Practice fighting alot too so you don't have to fully rely on strength.
I am 18 years old, 5'10 and 81kgs... Today I hit 67.5kgs x6 so I don't think you're doing too badly. You're benching your own body weight, that's a good lift. Gains come over time, man. It's taken me a month to realise I would not be bencing anything impressive for a while, so now I'm just focusing on getting a good workout instead of the numbers up on the board.
