I haven't contributed to this thread yet so here are some shots from my rides along the canals around Huddersfield before I moved home. All taken with my ever-trusty k800i phone. Bit of a pain having to take my bike gloves off every time I spotted something worth taking a photo of but it was a reet canny ride out
It's true I don't have the artistic skills or equipment of the other photos posted here, but I do have a bit of luck Was taking this photo of a monument to commemorate the abolition of slavery, and a young kanak boy just walked over to it, grabbed the chain and looked at the camera....he has quite an intense expression. It was a bit surreal for it to just happen like that. Right place, right time?
Some nice pics here. Just thought I'd share my pics I got of a Cougar at the zoo when I was over visiting Cait. I think this was a Leopard. Nearly went blind trying to spot it.
It took me ages to spot that leopard. My little boy just wandered over, looked at the screen and said 'leopard hiding in wood'. My boy has the eyes of a hawk.
LOL awesome! Yeah Cait spotted it fairly quickly to. But then again she gets super snappy happy when she gets her camera out that has a 20 foot zoom lens. I think it also makes he tea and toast.
I'm only going to upload a couple of my photos because I'm still learning. However, I've decided that I very much like the effect in these photos, so here you go: My brother looking deep and meaningful: My girlfriend's pony looking very dignified and colourful:
My step-dad looking happy: My mum and my brother looking at a photo they just took: A mountain from the chalet we stayed in. I altered the colours a little to make this more vivid:
Wow, great shots guys! (and gals? maybe?)
