I've posted this before, but I thought this video may be more relevant now:

Just to give you the latest news on PTK and the Armed forces of the Philippines.. As of a month or so back, a number of the Philippine National Police academy and branches of services have split the ways with PTK.. I received this information from people inside the military community of the Philippines and I just finished a 10 day trip in country for training.. Nothing more has come out of the academy or military branches since then, but the original reason for the separation was some business deals gone south on certain individual's part

I'd just like to clarify some points regarding your post :)

    1) PTK is still very much a part of the Armed Forces of the Philippines. It is still being taught to the Phil. Marines, special operations units of the military and some police units.

    2) The system has indeed recently cut ties with some police units and organizations. These individuals and groups were expelled from PTK, the reasons for which are not being discussed openly by PTK leadership because we prefer to be discrete about our internal matters. But since it's already a subject of speculation, then we need to address this gossip, without revealing any more info than is needed.

    3) The “business gone south” is between individuals, and has absolutely nothing to do with PTK and the PTK leadership.

    4) PTK has long been an established system, with clubs all over the world and is being taught to the police and military in the Philippines and other countries. As such it can choose to keep individuals amongst its ranks or not. The emphasis is on quality, not quantity.
