I am having a few issues with patterns and am looking to get my black tag on my red belt. I have aspergers syndrome but I am physically healthy and active. I was wondering if somebody else with AS or high functioning autism knows of a way of learning patterns/forms that may suite my way of thinking. My club have been very supportive.

In people with most mental disabilities I have found breaking the patterns down into sections (usually a line) and working on that only helps. Just less to take in at a time.

The thread is four years old, I really hope he has his tag now
