My mum used to make a mean pasta curry when I was younger - it did have chicken in it though, so it's probably not to your taste!
Wrong again martial man. America is one of the fattest countries in the world, #9 as you see here. You have to go all the way to page 4 of the rankings to find Italy, rated #111. http://www.forbes.com/2007/02/07/worlds-fattest-countries-forbeslife-cx_ls_0208worldfat.html
speaking of ramen, i love ramen (which is almost pasta), and boiling an egg in with it and only using half of the packet and putting chili powder in it and sometimes some chicken if i have the time to cook it up. that + a beer or water. omg its so delicious... i really want some now but i need to study and its 6am and i havent slept and if i eat hecka food ima go into a food coma it really is great fuel for the body though and to resolve your century long argument between pasta and steak, try beef stroganoff, it's so amazing. and i really cant choose between the two - im from an italian family and eat better pasta than any of u (god bless my mother's cooking) but nothing can really compare to an awesome 20oz ribeye with a baked potatoe and... and... *user lost ego has gone away from keyboard to go cook*
So long as its wholewheat pasta. I tend to avoid the plain white pasta. Its heavily processed. With wholewheat pasta you have a good source of low GI complex carbs. These digest and release energy slowly giving a more sustained energy release. They are better for the combat athlete on a cut too. That said im a compulsive obessesive when it comes to food. I break everything down into my main categories as follows: Carbohydrates Post workout (PWO) Dextrose Maltodextrin Waxy maize starch Rice flour Slow Starchy Carbs Lentils Amaranth Rye Spelt Oats Sweet potato Plain potato Wholegrain bread Basmati / long grain rice brown Wholewheat pasta Wholemeal pittas New boiled potatoes Yams Muesli (natural, no sugar added) Natural bean soups Chickpeas Split beans Black beans Barley Weetabix Shredded wheat Semolina Oat bran Millet Quinoa Red kidney beans Haricot beans Butter beans Couscous Tapioca Flours: soya, potato, rice, oat and wheat Butternut squash Swede Pumpkin Fruit Nectarines Strawberries Blueberries Raspberries Bananas Honey Watermelon Pineapple Cherries Apples Pears Oranges Peaches Plums Grapes Apricots Mango Guava Papaya Persimmon Sharon fruit Kiwi Figs All dried fruit Carrots Fibrous Carbs Celeriac Beetroot Onions Tomatoes Radishes Spinach Broccoli Cauliflower Aubergine Courgette Peppers Celery Beansprouts Bok Choy Water Chestnuts Cabbage Asparagus Lettuce Cucumber Mushrooms Green beans Brussel sprouts Protein Chicken (skin & bones removed)breast Lean cuts of red meat Rabbit WoodPigeon (breast) Tuna Mackerel Salmon Low fat cottage cheese Quark Coley Haddock Turkey (skinless) Sardines Kippers Pilchards Whey protein shakes Veal Venison Soya milk Tofu Quorn TVP (textured vegetable protein) Tempeh Natural low fat fromage frais Low fat, sugar free yogurts Lentils Seeds Egg whites & whole eggs Shellfish Buttermilk Bacon back Halibut Herring Trout Monkfish Lean pork Low fat cheeses & dairy Good Fats (+ essential fats) Olives Olive oil Flax seeds / linseeds Flax oil Almonds Cashews Nut Butters (hazel/almond/cashew/peanut) Fatty fish (kippers/sardines/mackerel/salmon/pilchards) Avocados Nut oils Columbus eggs/DHA eggs Sunflower & pumpkin seeds Macadamia nuts Coconut products such as oil and desiccated coconut Natural free range butter Oil blends Fish oils NKO oil Eating clean is what its all about. While bodybuilding isnt my forte, when it comes to diet and nutrition a lot can be said for them. They know how to put on quality mass as well as shed the fat. As for not liking tomatoes...Master Betty, have you no taste haha

Hi Mortimer657, I think 47MartialMan may have been referring to your rifle? The pics a bit blurred but it looks like the standard L85 A2 with the CWS night scope fitted?
Thats exactly what it is. SA-80 L-85 A2 with CWS and under slung torch. Had it not been a result for me, as i'd passed my cpl's course with flying colours i'd have looked p****d off. We had nothing but rain, wind and even a heavy bout of snow and sleet while we were on that course. Plus by some freak accident i'd ended up with rat packs that were all the same. I ate rat pack Lancashire hotpot for the entire time. Those were the days. Morti
