Well, it is time to start this again, been feeling a bit down since the eye diagnosis stopped my return to JKD. Have not been paying attention to my diet and not working out regularly. Gained weight and the arthritis is causing some issues so its time to get moving again. I'm too old to be worrying about lifing a lot of heavy weight again so I am going with lighter weight with higher reps so it is also cardio Yesterday 12-26-2017 Yoga routine Total Gym all 3 sets of 15 reps at level 3 Triceps kick backs Rows Iron cross Pull ups/Chin ups Seated Chest Press Chest flies Triceps extension Sun Taijiquan short form Yang Long form Today 12-27-2017 Baduanjin (8 pieces of brocade) Yang Long form Cardio Weight circuit - eventually will be 3 rounds but I'm not there yet, I am that far out of shape Got 2 rounds only using 15 pounds Stationary Bike 2 minutes Dumbbell curls 12 per side Stationary Bike 2 minutes Dumbbell lunge 12 per side Stationary Bike 2 minutes Overhead Dumbbell press 12 reps Stationary Bike 2 minutes Dumbbell squats - 20 reps I need to start focusing on my Yang style, I will be meeting with my shifu again soon, one on one, to get much deeper into Yang style

Friday 12-29-2017 Don't know what it is about Fridays, but when I come home from work I have little to no energy and I tend to just nod off. Only thing done Yang Dao for 3 times walked a lot of stairs at work

January 06, 2018 Feeling better, hoping this sinusitis thing is going away. Got to thinking today, I have al sorts of equipment in my basement so I do not need to just do the stationary bike 40-40-40 bag routine is based on the 30-30-30 bag workout. The reason for not posting is that the antibiotic they gave me for sinusitis ran out and then.... it came back. Trying to get ahold of my MD to see what e can do. This has me doing research on what a workout for an old guy should be as well as re-evaluating my exercise routines, diet and caffeine intake. Just had my physical a couple months ago and all was well, but if it continues I will be calling my MD again. And I still have this dang sinus garbage.
With the Heart palpitation issue I have rememembered on thing and decided on another I remembered in my youth I use to work 3rd shift at a hospital and I could dringk coffee all night long, then go home and go to bed. Never botherd my sleep, However it did cause a heart palpitation. I am drinking way to much tea these days and I am hoping that cutting out the cafine witll make it go away. Also going to go full on Chinese medicine to get rid of this sinus stuff. I have to many pills in my system these days; Claritin, Sudafed, Ibuprofen, and I hate taking medication Decided to return to my Lacto-ovo-vegetarians ways, with ocassional walks down the Pollotarian and Pescatarian vegetarian paths. But I realize, that in a good Chinese restaurant that all bets are off. I have no will power in a good Chinese restaurant. Also the workout is going to change. However Taijiquan and Qigong stay. However if by the weekend the palpitations are not gone it is time to call the Doctor

What will you be taking for you sinus issues mate? I've got my missus in decongestant tablets and ibuprofen but it's not helping as much as I'd hoped with her sinusitis.
