    Did wake up and do some medicine ball stuff
    What I call them
    Around the world pole to pole
    Around the Equator
    Lay on back throw and catch
    standing bounce catch
    Then...more sleep

    Stretching - Arms Shoulders

    I think the Exercise bike is irritating my knee. I have noticed that before the bike my knee is either feeling a bit better or bothering me a little bit. After the bike I am limping and sitting with a heating pad on my knee. Think I am going to remove it for now and see what happens.

    Got and tried a new style knee brace, a Donjoy Webtech knee brace. I was able to do all the above taijiquan forms and the workout with this brace and was not in anymore pain after my workout than I was before, when I took the brace off

    I have been dealing with a stomach bug so pretty much nothing was done on Feb 2 and 3

    Have been reading about exercise, diet and geezers such as myself and it appears I should be eating more protein to reduce, prevent muscle loss as I become more geezerly

    The results are in;
    Left knee that I had surgery done on last June is currently inflamed, likely do to snow removal. Ibuprofen and it will recover
    Right knee, the reason I went to the Doc; torn meniscus and a stress fracture of the Tibia
    Surgery, on a rather apropos day..... April 01, 2020...April Fools day in the good ole USA.

    Did the seminar on the 9th, it went well, wore knee braces on both knees, taught introductory push hands and worked on applications of the 13 postures with counters

    With another round of knee surgery on the horizon I have been trying to figure out some type of exercise program to do while recovering. Last time I mostly sat and that was only for 1 week, this time it is 2.5 to 3 weeks.

    What I have so far
    Been working on a chair yoga routine and a seated dumbbell routine
    After this round of surgery I want to get back to a whole lot of taijiquan and possibly a return to xingyiquan and I need to lose weight too

    > Actually figured out a short (30 minutes), low impact aerobics routine. Wore knee braces but so far today (03-25-2020) my knees feel ok

    Knees are not happy, especially the knee they did surgery on last June. Decided to do the regular acupuncture that Mrs Xue wants me to do...to see how that goes. Since she is from Beijing and a TCM doctor trained in China, who was acting head of the acupuncture department of Beijing hospital, I might as well take advantage of it on a regular basis.

    I currently have needles in my knees as I type
