After a year of training, my wife and myself finally decided to belt test. She was so nervous, but did really well. She really enjoys the throws. In fact, when she was demonstrating the inside step around for defense of O goshi, she actually was able to counter throw me and I had some serious hang time!!! Even the instructors were impressed. She got a little confused on some of the Japanese words, but technically I was very impressed. She now has decided to keep up on the judo and some day wants to be a black belt. So I don't have to worry about motivation anymore!
