What's the difference? I've been told oat bran is better for you but don't really know why, I've been led to believe oat bran helps in digestion or processing fat or something??? Which one of you fitness gurus knows?
The oat bran is slightly higher in protein and fiber and good to make muffins and pancakes with.The oatmeal is the whole grain and really helps in feeling full and fighting cholesterol I believe.It's just the basic difference in fiber and protein level but you should try you some oat bran pancakes and muffins.I like to mix applesauce in my oatmeal.
