The Assasination Of Jesse James By The Coward Bob Ford was released for rental at the local video store. Because I missed the movie at theaters and heard excellent critic reviews the prospect was exciting to watch this movie soon as someone returned a copy.

The movie is heavy on drama and light on action. This has to be among the longest drawn-out films that I have ever watched. For a western most would expect a few shoot-outs! There were NONE to speak of. Just a short train robbery scene and when Jesse gets killed. The movie did'nt even rank as much of a good drama. No wonder it did so badly at the movie theaters. Still attempting to figure out the point of the movie.

Do yourself a favor and skip this film.
