I ran across this last night on a TKD Facebook page and I'm hoping that it's an April fools joke cause otherwise WTF is screwed. Now surely it's an April fools joke right? The pic below looks like a dude suited up for a riot squad, not someone competing in a martial arts tournament.

Ah ok thanks for that, I think it's a bit overkill but who knows it might be better than the current Daedo system, if they do go down this path I think they should allow punches to the head and kick checks to be used, it looks like the training gear could handle it, also if the head guard scores points electronically then it almost makes the corner judges obsolete.
It's never going to be for WTF sparring gear, check the date It is used by myself, JWT and many others for scenario training, go check the sim day threads for an idea of how well it works for self defence training. Mitch
