After being injured for eight weeks from a hamstring pull sustained in football training, i went back to judo training for the first time. I took it a bit easy and didnt participate in the standing randori but it felt great to be back and doing MA again. Has anyone else experienced the same, coming back after an injury to get back into judo and felt as good as i did?

I know the feeling, but more by "stealth".

I picked up a knock which turned into Iliotibial Band Syndrome (IBS). A horrible burning sensation near the knee which increased during training, and was generally uncomfortable and made me afraid of using the leg.

Thankfully, due to some physio (who advised me on proper stretching regimes), the IBS faded away. I kind of never noticed it vanishing because it was gradual. But now I think about it, I'm glad I can use that leg without restriction now.

I still do the stretching religiously!
