Lisa Gerrard is a goddess. Her voice is the most angelic of any I've ever heard. Her abilities with her voice and a hammer dulcimer leave me speechless. What are your favorites? Agreed; all good stuff. I love distinctive female vocalists. Cocteau Twins, Swans (Jarboe) and others are comparable. There's a Columbian tribal princess with a vocal range greater than a piano that my dad used to listen to. Can't remember her name but it was incredible stuff, sounding all the way from an earth tremor up to birdsong. Different, yet amazing, female voices come from Sri Vesan, Eurythmics, Jefferson Airplane, Bel Canto and loads more Rgds, David
