Here at my home gym we train for health and fitness more than a means of fighting. My Bride and i run/march a few obstacle course runs a year. My question to experienced mud runner out there is, how far do you run to train for a 12 mile obstacle course? Ive been slacking a bit and can run 5 miles in a very slow 45~55 minutes. So naturally i need to get my tendons and lungs used to going longer. We have done a lot of short runs but this year we are trying for the Spartan Trifecta badge.
