I can't help it that my favorite song corresponds with one of your life events! I might get with someone then break up with them on purpose so I have a reason to listen to that song over and over....(not that I need a reason!)
Its the celluloid equivelent of someone scraping thier nails down a blackboard. Very hard film to get through.
This might seem a trifle lame after some of the films mentioned, but what happens to Anakin at the end of Revenge of the Sith kinda distrubed me when I first saw it. I knew he was going to get burnt (how else would he get into the suit) and possible an arm cut off..........but both his legs as well? There's something about seeing the "hero" of the story (first part anyway) crawling up a slope missing most of his limbs. His yells didn't help either. They weren't hollywood "aahh!"'s but rather a sick, painful growl that kind of sounded like he was going to be sick.
They are funny. The milk man, one by the same person is good. Burntface man is the funniest thing i've seen. As for disturbing, edward scissor hands, and it.
I think David Firth made half of those whilst he was on something! I showed Salad fingers to many people who were disturbed for life. The milkman is very wrong.
The salad fingers I remember is when he calls a guy from outside to walk into his oven to get the fish whilst he holds the door open. The little fella reluctantly walks in whilst Salad Fingers sees a rusty on the wall. As he scratches it he goes all weird and shuts the oven door. Totally messed up...
Monty Pythons - The Meaning of Life - Funny and disturbing Part V: Live Organ Transplants, and the bit with Mr. Creosote. Maître d': Ah, good afternoon, sir; and how are we today? Mr Creosote: Better. Maître d': Better? Mr Creosote: Better get a bucket. I'm going to throw up.
Someone mentioned Deliverance, not so disturbing, it was disturbing at it's time the hillbilly rape scene did it, me and a few friends look for "disturbing" movies we tend to enjoy them, Oldboy, now that was disturbing, The Audition, disturbing, I found the Candyman disturbing when I was about 8 years old, that gave me nightmares for years. But recently I found the hills have eyes to be a little disturbing I don't know why, I see so many disturbing movies, horror movies etc, I think it's the idea of being stranded in the middle of nowhere defenceless...
Anyone here seen Cannibal Holocaust? I've heard it's quite bad but as it was made a while back I can also imagine it's dated. However, I have seen the turtle scene (which involved a real turtle)...
