Metallica recently did a gig at the O2 as a party for their new album release. £5 tickets. Absolutely awesome show! Amazing atmosphere and the band were immense on stage. However, the main part for me was that I won a competition to go backstage and meet them! So I present to you: "When Tom Met-allica..."
I had a phone call from one of my mates who was there. I didn't hear anything other than noise. Jealous, much! Glad you had a good time though!

For a while I agreed with that point of view despite being a huge Metallica fan. The last few albums sounded too commercial and just too light. Was very pleased with thier new cd "Death Metallic". Anybody else heard the new cd yet?
Yeah, I like it. Some very good tracks on there. The drums are a bit loud at times (possible mixing error), but that's my only complaint.
