    Some jogging through the alleyways today. Also a bunch of bodyweight squats. Yesterday was a bit of walking. Going to try and get in some real running Wednesday. Healing is a terrible bore. :p

    Time to catch up here! :eek: Been jogging daily through the alleyways. Today I added another block's worth of territory to my run. Also started doing bodyweight squats to my routine, and stretch daily. :) Alleyways are way more fun than streets, IMHO. :cool:
    ETA: figured out one-handed speedbag and heavybag, and began playing with that. :D

    So far, a bunch of running. A good long way...something like 4-5 blocks' worth of alleyways with a bit of walking interspersed. Also, stretching.

    Ran a block or so. Formally diagnosed with a fracture in my finger. :( BOOOOO!!!!

    Been doing jogs every day lately, 1-4 blocks of alleyways.

    Today-
    bodyweight ATG squat, pause at bottomx20
    barre stretching, strap stretching

    Been continuing running/squats/stretching lately. Saw a physio today. Looking forward to getting over this joint subluxion nonsense.

    Met with my modern dance prof to discuss what to do the next few weeks while I'm in physio. The plan is for me to research Labo method notation of motion. :cool: Looks pretty interesting, and I'm surprised kata-heavy arts don't have something similar.

    Spring semester ballet begins today! :D Sub teacher for some reason. :confused: 1 hour. Stretch, adagio, petit allegro. Landed a saut de chat the first try. :D "most guys can't do that"-teacher

    Today-some jogging and bodyweight squats. Not much else, as I spent way to much time sorting out registration for classes because of admin's RIDICULOUS incompetence. :p

    modern-mostly sidelined for now, but do get to participate in hands-free exercises and stretching. :D YAY!
    Just a few of the things...
    flow sequence in 4/4
    swing down and up, turn hi and heart
    walking in 6/8-flat*pointe*pointe, then variation I; arms move to 5th one at a time each beat; variation II add 1 bar of alternating turns after bar of variation I

    Jete, step, step, rinse, repeat. (MAP should one day somehow make French accent marks so it doesn't look like I'm an illiterate French schoolboy :p )

    Modern dance 1.5 hours Getting back into the groove of things quite nicely. Able to do everything except floor work. :( Can't wait for my finger to heal!
