TKDMitch, not 'Yoi', more like Yuy or Yew (difficult to find the particular phonetics i'm after, cos even if it looks right to me you would prabably pronounce it differently)- by the way it's Norn Irn (no 'o'). Just done and passed my 2nd Kyu grading, hooray! If this messge doesn't make sense, please look back to 04 Feb.
I was just thinking is cool that my grading is feb 26 and your 1st dan is march 1 a few days after. Almost at the same time. Wouldnt it be cool if we both did well?

The e-booze guy, of course. Had a mock grading tonight. Guess I did ok. Apparently Ji'in was spot on apart from the last backfist - I was concentrating too much on speed and power of the leading arm that I forgot to have my chambered arm in tight. Got confused on one combination, but my concentration wasn't at 100% so that's my excuse. All in all I think I did ok, and there was nothing major that anyone could point out. I was told it was all fine so I'll take them at face value. And apparently as far as kihon goes I was taken through the 1st --> 2nd dan syllabus, so I should have less to do next week, or at least less complex combinations... I hope!
